Indecision

I’m faced with yet another crossroad that’s waiting to be decided on. Both paths are fresh journeys to me, but they lead to the same destination.
On my right is a path that comes with a tour guide who knows the map like the back of his palm. This may be a slightly longer journey that is the least travelled by other hitchhikers, but the tour guide is a reliable and dear friend who wouldn’t complain when you stumble along the track.
On the left is a more common and shorter route, guided by one who knows all creatures of the forest that can safeguard the journey. Think of Tarzan and his animal friends who speaks their own language while we watch in awe. Our relation with Tarzan, however, proves to be a glitch because he is after all, a man of the jungle miggling with a few city mouse.
So dear readers, which path would you choose to partake?
Coincidentally, yesterday’s bible study class was on making decisions, that we should depend on God when deciding what’s best for us. I’m a bad student who forgot which verse did the book quote, but it may be one from the book of Joshua, telling us that whatever choices we have in life, one of them is the best that God wants for us, so make your decision according to God’s will. - This is my own explanation, so God, please forgive me if I’m wrong.

A very old friend named Lydia Gan, visited yesterday and brought along a very nice gift. It is a book by Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life“. I can’t wait to finish the book and write a review on it!
