How to photoblog

Should I just use Wordpress, or should I install a separate photoblogging platform? Hmmm…. tough question. Photoblogs use database, which is convinient for hosting migration, right?

Use blogger/blogspot or flickr, and you don’t have to worry about bandwidth.
Feature wise, I can’t say much.. not experience enough.

Wordpress can handle photoblogging just as well as it does with normal blogging.
I’d agree with Jee to host on Flickr if bandwidth might be an issue to you.

Sorry, I meant “to host images on Flickr”.

Hosting is now a commodity so switching hosts is not a big problem. More so with a photoblog because picture files are not stored in the database (usually). What you should be thinking about is whether or not you want ease of integration of an external phtoblogging program / hosting service with your current Wordpress installation vs. modifying your Wordpress files to fit a a traditional photoblog presentation, e.g. single photo view on front page with a few thumbnails showing previous photoblog entries at the bottom etc.
