Sudden death in the family
January 31st, 2006 by Yvonne
A sudden death in the family,
Brings unspeakable darkness that lurk,
Every corner and every hearts,
Of loved ones who need no names.
As sudden the news came,
Our homes were trodden upon,
By bitter tears and looming grim,
For days it would linger.
A widow weeps,
Her husband’s gone,
At a struck of faith,
Her home was torn,
So seemlessly..
Like a blow of the wind.

good poem!!! how come you suddenly wrote this poem? yeah, a sudden death certainly brings speechlessness to the loved ones. and death is very uncertain, it can happen the next moment or whenever God’s planned. come to think about it, we really don’t have time to lose; we have to be prepared now rather than last minute. thanks for the poem anyway, it reminds me of my relationship with God; i should seek Him now rather than in the last few moments of my life when i don’t even have the time to repent! God bless you, sister.

Thank you collegemate and philters. Yes, the death was VERY sudden. I’ll write more about it in a few days. Till then!
