2006 whirlwind tour

I don’t have anything serious to blog today, so thought maybe it’s time I give my list of upcoming events a brisk run through. Ok, so here goes…
- 22rd July 2006 - Book talk, “Book Project 2″, 3pm at MPH MidValley.
- 23rd July 2006 - HEART4HOPE t-shirt sales at S.A.L.T
- 26th July 2006 - Emcee David’s album launch at Maison Club. HEART4HOPE will be on sale there.
- 29th July 2006 - Bloggers’ Meet/Farish Noor’s book talk/blogathon… what else ah?
- 1st August - 18th August 2006 - Somewhere here I am supposed to give a speech and sell shirts at UTAR.
- 19th August 2006 - Merdeka Speech at The One Academy, “What being a Malaysian means to me”.
- 27th August 2006 - Hi-Tea with Local Authors at MPH 1Utama.
- 9th September 2006 - ROCK4HOPE - Charity Concert for Yvonne Foong at Sunway University College.
- 5th November 2006 - I will be presenting the award to the next Outstanding Youth of The Year of AYA Dream Malaysia 2006!
This is as far as i can remember. I think I am supposed to give a speech at the Nirvana Corporation dinner too, but date is tentatively at the beginning of August. Dickson, update please!
On another note, the ever-so-cool Mr. Boh Jun Kit is now fervently working on the book layout, typesetting and final touches to the book cover! Expect it to be on sale soon. I am so excited to share my story!

Great! Looks like there quite a lot of interesting events coming up for you, Yvonne! It’s great to keep yourself occupied sometimes and have something to look forward to. I’m green with envy that your new book is going to be complete soon! I haven’t even made it through the 2nd chapter of mine! :p

Hi Yvonne, today I read your article on Sunday Mail and after reading that I’ve something sprout inside me and that is, to raise awareness of this rare disease in Nepal,also. I’m sure there are peoples who’re suffering from this rare illness in Nepal also but left isolated because of . Thus, all I want is to contribute your article to Fursad.com so that we can educated many young peoples there because this is one of fastest growing and most read website there. Pls think about it!

Hello Kishor. There’s an article in The Sunday Mail? I only know about the one in NST. I would like to spread awareness in Nepal too, but isn’t that an entertainment website?

You are correct. Yes! it’s an entertainment website but if you’ve noticed, there’s an contributed article segment there, where you can see bunch of articles where there’s a flow of many visitors each day. I hope this would be the perfect platform to start awareness there. Besides m trying to do it from my own portal too! And also, this will let u know views and ideas about Nepal Citizens. You are a very role model Yvonne and this way, people from there can learn many things from you.

kishor I saw that you wrote about NF on your own website. Thank you for doing that. I am sure your site visitors will learn a lor from you. It would be nice to be fetured in Fursad, so that people in Nepal will get to know about NF. If you want to meet me in person, why don’t you come to any of the above-mentioned events?

Hi Yvonne~ Saw your list there, and I was anticipated that you’ll be coming to The One Academy, and so true, you’re coming~!! Haha.. Well, Ms Pinky told me about inviting you to our college sometime earlier, and I never thought it is on the merdeka celebration! Hope to meet ya there~ we’ll be having some programs during the celebration.. I dont know what i’ll be involving in yet, but hopefully, it’ll be a wonderful day~
