Article: Is GDP growth in Malaysia at this rate a good thing?
I’m doing research to write a political science paper, commenting on the failing U.S. healthcare under it’s managed care system. While I’m at that, some stuff here and there brings me back to this old news which makes me think people in power these days are not very politically informed. Why are they in office?
I think GDP growth is something we should now control rather than encouraging. Lilian explains it in plain language for the not-so-politically-inclined folks in her blog, quite humorously.
WARKAH UNTUK PM
Pak Lah hari hari cakap pasal pembangunan.
Lagi pun, buat apa pembangunan besar-besar? Kilang-kilang semua tu penuh orang Indon, Nepal, Bangla dan macam-macam lagi. Masalah sosial lagi bertambah. Bagi saya, kita sekadar cukup makan, cukup tinggal dah cukup lah, Pak Lah.
Lilian, SALUT!
In another note, Terrence snapped phenomenal picture of Lim Kit Siang speaking in support of Hannah Yeoh at a recent rally. check it out. Our opposition parties seem more hopeful now.
