Article: Stories on government
I remember John Ling often told me the story of a child addicted to drugs. Should the father forcibly, even harshly stop the son, or should he pat him on the back and say, “Go ahead and do what you like”? The father would scold, slap, lock him up. The father’s heart ache hitting the son. But it’s better to stop him now when he can still be saved.
John also told me another story. A father is having dinner with his two sons. One has straight hair and the other curly. He turns to one of them and says, “Here son, I like your straight hair. Have some chicken”. To the other, he says, “I don’t like your curly hair. No chicken for you”.

One thing that I never do is work on an honest job that pays me – no time for that and it will not be enough to pay for my drugs consumption. Yes, I was bad boy then, but now I’ve repented and have walked away from it all for 25years now.
One day, I had some money (like RM3) and got myself a small tube of heroin. read more

Hi Yvonne,
Thanks for sharing my article with your readers. Just pray that it will help us to decide who we should vote for comes tomorrow.
I read through the intro about you. Man, I thought my Laryngectomy surgery was something to shout about, but after reading yours, i feel so small but am so encouraged it.
I read the article on “Hospitality for the disabled,” and glad that you are helping them to raise funds. BTW, I was one of the pioneering founders of Eden Handicap Service Centre here in Penang. I still do help out the centre from time to time. http://www.danielykl.com/blog/2007/10/27/truly-a-magnificent-lunch/
