Yvonne Foong: Fighting NF

Today is the first day of Amway’s PJ headquarters product expo. Fiona Tan was my special guest.

Fiona and I met when she first read about my cause in the newspaper three years ago. She has remained supportive of my every endeavor. No matter what I do or say, she would remain supportive.

The first we did upon arriving was to check out the booths. Here is a picture of CEO and Diamond Direct Distributor Derrick Teh performing a demo for Idaman Suri – Amway’s new cooking spices!

The place was crowded. After an hour of walking about, we decided to take a seat outside where nature is. Here’s a picture of Fiona by the pond.

After taking some portraits of her, I took a seat with her as we waited for Tiam Loong to arrive.

When Fiona left later, I was bored without any company for awhile. Just then I spotted Tiam Loong accompanying his friend and decided to see how well I could follow someone without him knowing.

I ended up following him to the observation deck where visitors can see the warehouse.

Above is an assembly line picture. This is where orders are packed and prepared for delivery.

It’s heartening to see the back ends of my business and know what happens each time I place an order for my customers.

I even got to see where the back end people work. Last month, I kicked up a ruckus when I miscounted the mooncakes delivered to me and filed a complaint. I realized my mistake soon later and apologized to the supervisor uneventfully. So this is where the recipient of my ruckus works!
