Help Syahidah

Syahidah paid me a visit at home after four long months of not seeing each other. She drove here from her home in Kg. Pandan, Cheras in the afternoon yesterday.

I remember Syahidah could walk better than this four months ago. But she now has difficulty walking in a straight line and is less able to control her legs when she has her shoes on.

My doctor, Dr. Rick A.. Friedman, a Neurotologist in Los Angeles’ House Clinic will be the person to remove Syahidah’s brain tumor that could not be removed in Malaysia. The discounted price package including surgeons’ fees and hospital charges is RM131,000.00

Syahidah is very determined to raise the funds on her own. She has raised RM5,000 since March but sales are coming in very slowly for her. Would you like to help Syahidah raise the funds? She even has a PayPal account that she can accept donations with.

You may send donations to Syahidah using her PayPal account address: mafiajawe@yahoo.com.sg
Or deposit it directly into her bank account at Maybank, number 164098002029

I am going to the U.S. National Institutes of Health for my own check up this October. If Syahidah can raise enough funds to have her surgery at House Clinic this October, I may aaccompany her to surgery on the same trip as I am going for my appointments in Maryland.

Please help Syahidah. Please help a woman who is eager to grow and be independent.

Her experiences since then have transformed her into a motivational speaker; inspiring hope, faith and strength. Yvonne is currently working to establish A Celebration of Life, a charity foundation that provides NF patients in Malaysia with financial and logistical support.
