Saturday morning. Woke up to find Steven watching television. After breakfast, we went to San Gabriel Mission District, just 5 minutes drive from where Steven lives.
SAN GABRIEL HISTORICAL WALK - TILE NO. 1

Steven had to help me get up there. My balance has not been good lately. So remember you’ve seen this picture of me standing tall.

,I loitered around the apartment where my friends live while waiting for the laundry. Southern California has got interesting buildings, with spacious floor plans and green lawns. Sophisticated but simple. It’s amazing how comfort can be found with minimalist designs.
We have some high-end condominiums in KL of fawning grandeur. But they don’t quite hit the mark. Perhaps they missed the point of hitting home while trying hard to please. What do you think?

Date: 8th - 10th October 2007
Venue: Heritage Hotel, Cameron Highlands.
Participants: Special Needs children from SMK Seksyen 5
Special thanks to the following sponsors: Heritage Hotel, CS Travel & Tours, and Carrol Lawrence the freelance coordinator representing REACH.
Below are photographs I took that look good enough to see the light of day. I should consider investing on a dSLR because so many photos turn out unusable! I enjoy taking still-life photos, also described as photojournalism style.

Yvonne snaps kick ass photographs. Heh… no just kidding. It’s only me and my good ol’ Canon A410. But what’s a girl who can’t hear gotta do in a lecture? She reads, she looks, and she takes photos!
Mr. Frazier is currently the Vice President for International Program of Upper Iowa University. That’s my uni! The banners said “Welcome Dr. John Walker”, implying that the uni President himself was here, but he was no where to be found, unfortunately.
Mr. Frazier lectured on Colonial America, the Revolution, right up to the First 10 Amendments of the United States.
This is Jay, who helped type what the speaker said.
Chemmy and xxx.
Chemmy and Jay had been tremendously helpful in Expository Writing class. Thank you!
Just some eye candies, for the heck of it. haha…

Chatting with Cheryl and YC on MSN while in transit at Taipei airport. This is by far the longest stop over I experienced. 3 hours and 15 minutes! Praise God for laptop and wireless internet.
My check-in luggage is pretty empty and comes without straps to secure it’s contents in place. I’m imagining myself sorting out the mess 11 hours from now. May be spending the Sunday rushing next week’s YellowPost column.
Kelvin from The Oral Stage handed me the script for “Screwed” two weeks ago. I haven’t yet the time to finish reading, so I packed it along with me to LA. Should have carried it into the cabin.
To kill boredom while waiting for my next flight, I edited some pics taken at KLPAC on April 7th. Here you go…

Meep! I know, I’m vain. But I no longer bother editing my eye. What’s the point, right? So what if I have a bad eye? These days, when people stare at me shamelessly, I’d stare back and even smile at them. And you know what? They usually smile back! *pengsan*

I watched Screwed with Jun Kit! Free tickets courtesy of The Oral Stage. Praise God for making me a blogger. kekeke
Oh, how surprised was I to meet Albert, KY, and Suanie there as well! I’m not the only blogger in the world after all. Heh just kidding. But Albert seems to be everywhere.

This is Kelvin and that’s the script I’m holding. The deal was, free tickets for me, and free review for them. In addition, I get to experience reading a proper play script. What a learning experience! See it does pay to blog. I get to encounter generous Malaysians.

The cast! I’m SO proud of them. Good job, folks! You’ll read a proper review of the show in YellowPost this week. Keep yourself on the lookout! Now let me see what facial expression should I wear upon meeting Eddie at LAX later. Hmmm…
